Post-Mining Reclamation: Restoring Ecosystems in Halmahera

Through our 2025–2026 CSR infrastructure program, three previously unserved villages in Halmahera now have access to clean piped water, benefiting over 1,100 households across the area.
Local Workforce Development: 68% of Site Employees are Local Hires
A core pillar of our operational strategy is local employment. As of H1 2026, 68% of the total workforce at both mining sites comes from local villages, supported by structured vocational training and skills development programs.
Farmer Empowerment Program: Supporting 200 Families in Transition Zones
Working alongside local government and NGOs, Batu Karang Group launched a farmer empowerment program that provides alternative livelihood support to 200 families living in transition zones around the Halmahera concession area.
Cultural Heritage Preservation Partnership with Local Adat Council
Batu Karang Group formalized a partnership with the local Adat (customary) council in North Maluku to ensure all operational decisions respect indigenous land rights and cultural heritage sites within and adjacent to our concession areas.
